How do I apply to become an Associate?
To become an Associate with Mustard Seed you will need to sign up for updates or book a discovery call. Further information will be sent to you at this point.
What qualifications do I need?
We accept Associates who are qualified in counselling, psychotherapy or another professional qualification suitable for the work we undertake.
*We sometimes have opportunities for counselling or psychotherapy placements
What is your remuneration model?
Associates are in private practice and provide an invoice for the work undertaken. Invoices are normally paid within 30 days of receipt.
We do not take a commission but charge Associates for brokerage, practice management and shared governance services per session / contract.

Can I only work online?
Associates who offer a hybrid model of face-to-face in their locality and online provision are prioritised as many service users and commissioners prefer to be seen in person.
Are there set hours?
As an Associate you are a self-employed or business owner providing services. We do not guarantee any work or clients are available and you will likely have a provate practice with clients from a variety of sources.
Each contract is offered (and potentially accepted by you) on a case-by-case basis.
Where are your counselling offices?
Mustard Seed currently use shared office spaces in Nottingham and Walsall or may use the premises of our clients / commissioner.
